Your trading community, on top of everyone's real trade data
If you run a trading group on Discord, Telegram or Skool, you already know the problem: nobody can see whether anyone is actually following the plan. Screenshots are curated, "what did you trade today?" gets answered by the three people having a good week, and the person quietly blowing up is invisible until they leave. Evidence Spaces is the same group, with the numbers attached.
See it running (no sign-up) → Create a SpaceThis is shipped and running today — a Space is a live feature inside Evidence, not a waitlist. Voice rooms, moderation, feed and leaderboard all work now.
What a Space actually is
One container with your members in it, and four things inside:
Chat and voice
Text channels with images and stickers, plus voice rooms people can drop into. Owner, admin and moderator roles; timed mutes, warnings that auto-kick, bans with an appeals process, and an audit log of every moderator action. This part is the reason a community can actually live here rather than being a second place nobody opens.
A feed where posts carry the trades
A member writes their recap and attaches the actual trades — symbol, direction, entry, stop, target, exit, planned R, the result. Not a screenshot. Anyone reading can press Replay on a trade and watch it play back candle by candle from before the entry, with the open P&L ticking underneath. That answers "why did you sit through that?" in a way no image ever will.
A board that ranks process, not profit
A P&L leaderboard rewards whoever risked most — the exact behaviour a journal exists to catch. The default ranking is the Evidence Score, which is 85 % process: did they follow their own rules, was the risk consistent, did they protect what they were up. Sort by win rate, trade count or net pips if you want; profit is never the default and money figures are never published to a board at all.
As the owner you also get the thing a ranking cannot tell you: who has not journalled in over a week, and whose process score is slipping. From the cards members published, and phrased as a prompt to ask rather than a verdict.
A library you publish into
Share a playbook — your checklist and rules — and members get an editable copy in their own account. Publish a course and it appears in their Academy alongside the built-in ones, with the same chapter progress and the same spaced repetition: questions they got wrong come back after seven days, then after thirty.
Nobody's journal is visible by default
This is the part most "shared journal" pitches skip, and it is the part that decides whether serious traders will join your group.
- A member's journal lives in a document only that member can read. Nothing in a Space changes that, and no owner permission grants access to it.
- Everything another member sees was copied out by its owner on purpose. A board card lists exactly which figures are shared, and unticking one means it is not written at all — not hidden behind a flag, not stored.
- A card can be taken down in one click, and it disappears from the board immediately.
- A trade attached to a post carries a fixed, small field list. Your notes, mistake tags, screenshots and voice notes stay in your journal unless you add them yourself.
If you are a mentor, this is worth saying out loud when you invite people. "Your journal stays yours; you choose what the group sees" is a far easier ask than "connect your account".
If you already run a group somewhere
You do not have to move anyone. Most groups keep the chat where it is at first and use the Space for the parts a chat app cannot do — the feed with real trades attached, the process board, and the library. The voice rooms and moderation are there when you want the rest.
| What you have now | What a Space adds |
|---|---|
| Discord / Telegram chat | The same chat, plus every post able to carry the actual trade and a replay of it |
| Screenshots of results | Numbers that came out of a journal, with the fields the poster chose |
| "Who is doing the work?" — no idea | A process board and a quiet-this-week list |
| Course platform on the side | Courses inside the app the members already journal in, with progress and spaced repetition |
| PDFs of your playbook | A playbook they copy into their own account and tick through at the ticket |
What it costs
Members can join a Space and post on the free plan. Creating a Space is part of Pro, and so are the parts that read a member's own journal deeply — the Academy measurement, Edge Lab, the replay and the drills. There is a 7-day trial with no card.
Honest limits
- A board only shows what members published. If nobody publishes a card, the board is empty — that is the design, not a bug.
- Course publishing is plain text with one chapter per block. It renders exactly like the built-in courses, but there is no rich editor and no video hosting.
- Replay from a feed post works on the instruments the free tick feed serves — FX, metals, indices, crypto. Futures, stocks and options are journalled and analysed in full but not replayed; that is a data-licensing wall and we say so here rather than let you find it after moving your group.
- Voice rooms are peer-to-peer and sized for a handful of people talking, not a 200-person stage.
Start one
Open Evidence, go to Social → Community, and create a Space. It takes about a minute, and you can have it public in the directory or invite-only with a code.
