When TradeZella is the better choice
TradeZella is the better choice if your broker is in its automatic-sync list but not in Evidence’s, and you do not want to import statements — or if you want a large video course library and a big existing community. It has been around longer, and that shows in the breadth of integrations.
When Evidence is the better choice
Evidence is the stronger choice if you want replay and the AI coach without paying for a higher tier, a free plan that does not run out, and a full backup of everything you ever wrote. It is also built around measuring behaviour change — the Academy checks against your own journal whether a habit actually changed.
Switching from TradeZella
Export your trades from TradeZella as a CSV file and drop it into Evidence’s importer — there is a preset for TradeZella’s export, so symbol, direction, prices, size, P&L, setup and notes are mapped for you. The import check shows duplicates and missing stops before anything is written. Screenshots do not come along, because the export file does not contain them. Importing is free on every plan — no trial and no card needed.
